Howdy Folks.
Bit of a funky network question;
My goal is to get my xbox360 to share internet via internet my MacbookPro with ClearWire 4G USB connector.
I turned on internet sharing from system preferences>sharing. From "4g Wimax" to "Ethernet". I plugged an ethernet cable from macbook to the "internet" port on my router, and then ran a ethernet cable to the xbox, the xbox detects the network, but not the internet.
I'm pretty tech savvy but not a network wiz.
I reset the modem, but left it on default settings.
Do I need custom DNS or IP addresses on the router?
Is there something else I need to set up on my Mac?
Would it be easier to bypass the router and just plug cable direct to Xbox?
Thanks folks!

^ Not quite what steveash was asking.
ITC Stone family or Sabon for the serif face might be worth checking out. I've used Stone before for corporate reports and it's very readable and versatile with its three sets of informal, sans and serif variations. Sabon has a smallish x-height that I've found difficult to work with at times, sick to death of it because I had to use it continuously for six years.
If this thread doesn't give you much joy, consider signing up and asking at Typophile. (http://www.typophile.com/forum) Those guys are insanely good.

I think it depends on the screen protector, mainly if it goes all the way to the edge of the glass or not. He clearly has one on in the pics so I guess it works. I also say InCase Slider is the best in terms of both looks and durability. Second would probably be Speck Candyshell for ease-of-use and durability.

Is TinkerTool even made for this?
If you meant this (http://www.macworld.com/article/42469/2005/01/2waystreet.html) trick, then there is no need for TinkerTool, as you can enable "show hidden files" via Terminal, but that would only work with an iPod usable as disk drive, and the iPod touch does not have that feature, thus exPod (linked above) is enough.

It doesn't matter what OS or software you're using. Who is your email provider? Gmail? Yahoo? Hotmail? Some other? Go to the site that hosts your email and there should be instructions for resetting your password.

I thought as Grapher is so complex and functional if you know what you are doing that it's worth creating a guide (http://guides.macrumors.com/Using_Grapher), it's not great so far but using the math mode button at the top I don't get equations, (which are kinda needed for this topic ;) ) can we get math support added please?

It isnt the dev teams fault that you rely on jailbreaking to get your apps ILLEGALLY, why dont you just buy them instead of creating a post venting your frustrations
Well, the OP didn't mention that he's jailbreaking his iPod for illegal downloads.
I jailbreak and I still pay for my apps, through the App Store or even through Cydia itself. There are just some apps that I need that requires jailbreaking (ex. ibluever-- tethering my phone's data so I can use the internet without needing Wi-Fi)... and yes I paid $5 for that app.

Props to Nikon.
IMO, they've had a gap in their lens range for a while, since they didn't have a good priced AF-S 'nifty fifty'. I've advised friends and relations looking for a low-end body to go Canon for this reason alone (well, Canon do make some decent cameras too! ;)).
With the introduction of the 35 f.18 AF-S and now this lens, they've completely addressed that issues - with a nice standard and short tele for the DX shooter (this 50mm is FX too).
If only Canon would re-formulate either their f1.4 or f1.8 lens. Their current versions are dismal.

I don't have an iPad2 or the camera kit but I do have the ability to use google so here you go: http://www.pcworld.com/article/195013/ipad_camera_connection_kit_connects_other_things_too.html
granted that article talks about the iPad1 so you will need to test the method to confirm it.
here is a tutorial for using handbrake to rip the movies in the first place: http://www.methodshop.com/gadgets/tutorials/handbrake/index.shtml

Thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately that is not the problem.
I know my entries are correct under the automouter and the permissions are 775. But for some reason the server doesn't let other users access the share.
The NAS holding the shares is attached to the same OD as the as the OS X Server.
I suspect that it is a bug with OS X server, as other machines are able to correctly provide access to the shares.
I've given up on this, I don't believe this is a product Apple really supports anyways.

Wowsers!! And with all this SP2 and Longhorn news, you'd think that MS would be winning....
I guess that it goes to show that if you have a great and easy to use site, you'll get lots of people coming to hang out!

Are you talking about the Time Capsule? If so, why not connect it via USB to your Mac directly and try Disk Utility then?
Or try this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1689025?threadID=1689025
found via "wiping time capsule (http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=wiping+time+capsule&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8)"

When you get into the XP setup area, make sure you format the drive correctly also. I got stuck on this if i didn't recreate the partition / format it would not boot

Sorry, no. iDisk uses WebDAV for it's connection method, not FTP. IIRC, there are some FTP clients that also support WebDAV, including Transmit, I believe. With one of those, you could work out a solution (many allow for editing files in an external editor, automatically saving changes to the webhost when you save the file in Coda).
And no, you cannot run a Wordpress installation from your iDisk. It doesn't support PHP or any other server-side scripts that would be needed to operate something like that. I think it's possible that at this point you'd be best finding an actual web host.
