Great job, Arn! I like the links archive idea. I know I will make use of it in the future. Keep up the good work!

I have a 12" Powerbook that had a similar wifi problem.
It ended up being a bad connector going into the airport card. It had gotten loose and the connection quality was pretty poor.
The connector itself wouldn't stay tight in the card, so I replaced the end with a new connector that solved the issues.
Good luck.

Thanks for responding to my devil's advocacy. How things tend to work around here is that any ideas like this get batted around out here, perhaps discussed amongst mods and admins... and if they pass muster, then added to the list of things to do. Some of these things can take months or even years to even reappear in some form.
Personally, I'm not sure that this idea will be given much priority, but that's just a hunch based on previous experience as I have no say in this process. Saying that, it would also certainly generate an interesting amount of data for those who like stats and graphs as well.

I just like the idea of being Administrator. Is it bad? I don't have another username, as I wanted to use the root as my only account.
Should I just make a new username?

And by that I mean, is there a connection that I can make that would automatically allow me to sync or save the same files on both computers simultaneously?

Foxconn has been known for its human rights abuses of its workers.. this isn't new. While China economically is becoming more and more powerful over the USA, it still has a lot to learn about work place human rights.

I'm trying to enable multitasking gestures in Xcode. I start the application, make sure I'm viewing the organizer window, but there's no section for Devices. All my iDevices show up in iTunes but not Xcode for some reason.
Any ideas?
What version XCode are you running? If I remember correctly minimum version is 3.2.6

Wikimedia seems to have bugs with '&' characters in titles. The 'Power Macintosh G3 (Blue & White)' page was never actually deleted, it's just that when you tried to go to it it would take you to 'Power Macintosh G3 (Blue' instead.

that's because it isnt animated yet. ;)
that's just the animatic, which is a rough layout of the action. that way I can work out the timing, etc before doing all the animation. it's easier to change things BEFORE they're done ;)
I start animating soon....VERY soon.

yeah i mean pretty much says the same thing... production second half of this year see them in devices early next year... looks like he just left out the next year part!
They also had a similar time frame for SNB, and they were given to manufacturers really early 2011 (january)

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The entrydoor is in the top right corner, and there is a SLIDING door in the bottom right corner, not a window. Stupid me forgot to mention that. Also, on the right wall as soon as you walk in, there is a double door closet, so nothing can go there. Like the idea Snow, but its back to the drawing board lol.

Am I the only one who didn't like gears of war? I just thought it was incredibly boring. I couldn't stand more than 1/2 an hour playing it.
A movie based on it? The only good game => movie crossover I can think of was the tomb raider movies, and they we're only slightly above average. The mario movie was fun in the stuipest sense, but not good in the least.

Looking at the new revamped OWC SATAIII SSD vs a WD 7200RPM 500GB HDD, the SSD has a higher read/write power draw @ 2.5W vs the HDD's 1.75, and a higher idle @ 1.2 vs 0.80. I know that the SSD can do the work much faster than the HDD but with that power draw I can see how the SSD can easily end up using just as much if not more power than the HDD.
But the root of my question is: Is the SSD turned off when the laptop is in sleep or standby?
I ask because there is no power draw listed on OWC's side for these mods but the WD site lists 0.40W when in sleep or standby. If the SSD is still using 1.2W when in these modes thats about 3x's the power usage
