I'm using an UIImagePickerController to set a picture from my cameraroll to a UIImageView. However the image is getting scaled automaticly inside this UIImageView because I mentioned 'scale to fit' inside the IB. I'd like to save my chosen image with a resolution of 80x80 pixels so that I won't have to scale. (My App is getting realy slow because of this scaling issue.)
Here's a snippit from my code:
-(void)imagePickerController:(UIImagePickerController *)picker

Hello everyone. I have this iPad since january 2011 and from about 2 weeks to now I have been observing some weird marks growing on the back of my iPad. I use the Apple iPad Case most of the time, rarely taking it out to clean the screen.

Hey guys, so I've read the FAQ and what not and I really hate asking for help, but I'm stuck.
I'm using an i7 MBP on 10.6.4.
What do I need to download and run to get this set up? I'd like to use the graphical client (if possible). I like to have it run next to me at work and it's kinda interesting to watch.
So basically I downloaded this one. (attachment 1)
Then I downloaded this (attachment 2)
And that folder contains these (attachment 3)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm already using SETI@Home, Rosetta@Home, and Milky Way 3D mapping. I feel Folding@Home has a greater purpose than most of these (Rosetta is sorta the same).
THANKS!

I added a folder to Xcode with a collection of images, 456 images to be precise. I need to add these images to an NSMutableArray so I can later view them in an IKImageBrowserView. I could add each of these images manually to the NSMutableArray, but that would take a very long time. How can I access folders that are used by my program and add them to an NSMutableArray?
Thanks
Why would it take a long time? This is what loops are for.

Pics? Unless it's pristine, you won't find many willing to pay $595, my PowerBook was purchased for $650 and it's maxed. You're looking at more like $300.

I purchased this laptop March 16... it's been 1.5 months. I know Apple's policy for returns is long over, but I'm beginning to really feel this screen is unacceptable and unusable. Are there any suggestions for solutions to this? Should I even bother pleading my case to Apple for a return?

My tripod came with 2 things that screw into the camera so I cut out the screw and glued a little stand that came with my switch easy rebel case and I was done... It wasn't the sturdiest but it worked!

There is a lot of talk about this in the Mac Pro forum, you should look around at existing threads there.
Your two card strategy doesn't make any sense. Adding a second card doesn't "take the strain" off the first card, whatever that means.
You specifically mention SLI/Crossfire, but those don't work in OS X.

Plex basically is XBMC. It's a tweaked port.
Yeah, would be good to see 1080p supported in the iPad 3!

Get it while it's still there.
I don't really want to mail it, takes too long and tends to have conflicts with the size limit.

I'll leave it up there for about a week.

If you wait for the MBA refresh (which might be a long wait - no one really knows, though rumours suggest this summer) it will probably get Sandy Bridge. In which case, absolutely it will be able to run your CPU-intensive apps, probably better than your current machine.

My latest mic purchase is the RODE NT1-A and I love it, gives alot of high end and is very very quiet.

I've also heard good things about the Bluebird
http://store.apple.com/us/product/TU047LL/A?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY
...but I don't think you can go wrong w/ the Blue THX which is USB. Simple to use and almost certainly is good enough for an online radio presentation (which is going to be compressed anyways.

I've been using the computer in the same location since I got it, which is in a climate controlled environment. Yes, outside it is warmer, but inside it has been the same temperature all along.
I uninstalled flash (if you notice in the picture it says the flash is running in safari, even though I only had it on non-flash websites) and after doing so, the temps seemed to have gone back down to the previous temperature range.

I was wondering if xcode 4 has added any cross-platform development features. Specifically, right now I use NetBeans running on OS-X, but I have it compile on a Linux VM (or physical machine). It then sends back compile errors and warnings that I can click on which take me back to the appropriate line of my code.
XCode 4 have anything like this? Or is it really just tailored for OS X and iOS development?
Nothing built-in, but I think it's still possible to do so like it was in xcode3 - but it's not really worth the trouble imo. A lot easier to copy the code and compile it in an virtual machine unless someone has already been working on some package for that but I don't know anything of such thing yet.
EDIT:
Lee gives some good points also :)

I'll have about 20 of the promo shirts from FastMac (http://fastmac.com/leopard.php#1) to give out. I'm supposed to be receiving the box today. I'll be there about 5:30.
