I had a Quadro card that I used for CUDA; ran very hot, and was loud as well.

And Rntgenstrahlung is the original name for "X-Ray", as the man who detected "x-rays" is Wilhelm Conrad Rntgen.
Duh, I should have known that although it's been a mighty long time since taking the National Boards :D
BTW.....I only mentioned my sister and nephews to explain why these particular anniversaries caught my eye!

Yep, sure do, plus I could throw in a mini-box (looks like the box except shorter since it only held the phone) that Apple sent me my repaired unit in once.

The new iMacs use at least these CPUs:
i5 (Intel Core™ i5-2400 Processor ) and i7 (Intel Core™ i7-2600 Processor)
The i5 Desktop CPUs are quad core and have one thread per core.
The i7s are quad core two, but have two threads per core.
Maybe this can help: http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?familyID=42912&MarketSegment=DT
And here are some benchmarks: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sandy-bridge-core-i7-2600k-core-i5-2500k,2833.html

After many hours of fruitless Internet searches regarding the following, I hope a member here can help me, please ! I have quite a few .RA (Real Player) songs on my Mac. As you will know, when clicking on the .RA icon, Real Player fires up, makes a connection and plays the music. Is there any way I can convert these .RA files into .MP3s ? Initially, I thought iTunes would do the encoding, but it doesn't. Surely there is something out there for Mac users (I have seen many .RA-to-.MP3 converters for PCs) to help me out ?
I know I could record the Real Player stuff onto my cassette deck via the hi-fi then add them back to my Mac via CD Spin Doctor as MP3s, but this would be too time-consuming. Someone help me, please !

Have you tested your print settings by booting into OS 9 rather than running classic?
Did your printer work on a previous system with the same software you mentioned?
I would guess that your main problem is that classic is a bit flakey with USB printing.
Ultimately you want to get the printer running under OS X with your applications also running native to OS X. To get the answer to this, you need to talk to Canon, to see if they have an OSX driver for your printer. If you bought your printer from a store, see if they can help.
If they don't have OSX drivers for your printer, start learning about CUPS, which is an open source UNIX printing environment which should have a driver for virtually every printer made.

Google "little app factory"
Download iRip 2
That app will allow you to copy all songs off your iPod onto your new machine. Once the music is on your new machine you can add it to iTunes. Then sync your iPod to the new machine. iTunes will prompt you to erase the iPod, go for it, because all the music is already on the machine. You can new music as well.

Yes, I received a PM from a moderator stating that they had deleted the thread, but only because the OP requested it. I was relieved to hear that it didn't get zapped for some other reason, but it's puzzling that someone would want to withdraw his request for C&C like that. Granted, the two replies he received were critical, but they were very polite and thoughtful. Isn't getting that kind of feedback the whole point of requesting C&C? :confused:
I never got a chance to post my reply (which was long, and took me a good bit of time to compose), so I just sent a pm to the OP instead.

This just popped up on my Tivo (I have a standing wishlist for MacWorld):
Today 1/9, 12:00pm EST (when the keynote starts), a program called In Focus. This is a regular program. The topic is "MacWorld kicks off." No idea what they have planned.
Channel 353 on DirecTV.

The other problem is that an adapter could put a small delay in the signal, which will be unacceptable for something like NES gaming. There are a bunch of LCDs out there (I have a Dell one) that have a composite input, which works great for this.

Hi
I'm wanting to upgrade my website so people can buy prints, greetings cards etc from my website.
I was going to upgrade my 1and1 account to a basic home hosting account (http://order.1and1.co.uk/xml/order/HostingHome;jsessionid=430E7E7441612649C4F7EA8240457A8F.TC30a?__frame=_top&__lf=Static) account
But today I've discovered that although it has php it doesn't include MySQL - my question is do I need to have MySQL to build a shopping cart ?
Thanks
David :)

TuneYard (http://tuneyard.com)
It would be great if you all could support the site by uploading your GarageBand tunes. Still working out minor bugs, but it's functional at least .

It sounds like NSButton (or NSButtonCell) is shifting the NSRunLoop into a different mode while it tracks the mouse.
I'm assuming you're using either scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:target:selector:userInfo:repeats: or scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:invocation:repeats: to create your timer. These methods will only add the timer to the default run-loop mode.
Instead try using timerWithTimeInterval:target:selector:userInfo:repeats: or timerWithTimeInterval:invocation:repeats:, and then manually adding the timer to the run loop for the common mode.

I want to spend like $100-$200, Preferable 256MB+ RAM, 10GB+ HD, 750MHz+, and a DVD drive is prefered, but not necessary, I'll need at least a Working CD-Rom drive. No OS is necessary, but if you have Windows 200 Pro, I might be interested. Let me know, IBMs, Dells, etc would be fine, and the screen size dosent matter as long as it works.
Battery life isnt an issue, as long as it can hold like 30+ mins
make me offers, Mayeb we can make a deal, thanks :-D

Shouldn't that be:
IOServiceGetMatchingServices
It is case sensitive you know!
What happens if you try to find something that isn't implemented by yourself.

Another problem :
My device is hid device, if I use the following code, my device can't be found.
IOHIDManagerRef mgr;
mgr = IOHIDManagerCreate(kCFAllocatorDefault, kIOHIDOptionsTypeNone);
IOHIDManagerSetDeviceDeviceMatching(mgr, NULL);
IOHIDManagerOpen(mgr, kIOHIDOptionsTypeNone);
CFSetRef device_set = IOHIDManagerCopyDevices(mgr);
CFIndex num_devices = CFSetGetCount(device_set);
.....
then I print all device fount(num_devices = 4), which are apple keyboard ,mouse and so on, my device can't be found.

I have a new 2010 Mac Mini that I am using to stream NETFLIX. I am in Navy and stationed in Japan and I use Hotspot Shield to get a USA IP address. My mac mini stopped working and I an error code saying I am out of area. On my 2009 Macbook Pro it is still working....
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Buy one now seriously. If you play the waiting game, you'll never buy one because they're always something, bigger, faster, better around the corner. The iBooks are great right now for the price.
