The MWSF keynote is on Tuesday. A few MWSF preliminary activities begin tomorrow, but the real kick-off is Tuesday. There's nothing going on today.
It's a Sunday...folks don't work on Sundays if they can avoid it. :D

You think that's the new iLife '06...? ;)
I don't know, you think they'll really hold out until June for iLife '06? :p
Everyone else, thanks for the comments but now I have question: twitch or bounce?

I don't want one.
Me neither. I want a large capacity (100GB+) audio iPod. No movies, no photos, no games. A black and white screen and a long battery life.

No, just freezes. I did get some weird lines once a couple of days ago when I slept the computer. The lines just appeared for about 1 second as it went down.

my ibook still thinks that the earphones are plugged in, and therefore it won't use it's built in speakers even when i unplug the line of the earphones. i check the system preferences, and it's options are only: "headphones: built in audio." this is annoying!

...well, at least it finally comes with a lifetime warranty.
I used to avoid PNY since they were usually only giving a 2 yr warranty on RAM and flash drives (and I think their flash drives are only still ~2 years).

I was at LAX waiting for a flight. As you can imagine, all the flights were cancelled and United put me up in a hotel.
I had actually taken a United flight from Newark to LA the day before (which was one of the routes that was hijacked) so that was close...
Edit: first thing I did was ring one of my friends in NJ to see if he was ok, since he had a job interview in NYC that morning. He was ok, he had heard about it on the way and turned around.

Does the Mac mini accept any other optical media like audio CDs, DVDs or other kinds it should support?
What does it say in System Profiler > Hardware >> Serial-ATA >>> "optical drive"?
You could make screenshots (http://guides.macrumors.com/Taking_Screenshots_in_Mac_OS_X) if you are unsure.

This is awesome. Hopefully quality control is still great after this move.
That's what I'm worries about too, but hopefully everything will work out fine.

Are there converter programs for ogg. and flac files for the Mac?? I am a pc owner switching to Mac in a month or two and was hoping to still download off this site and convert the same music files I'm use to converting now.
Thanks :)

Good luck when Apple purges their list to make sure locked phones stay in their appropriate area.

I've got an iBook G4 1.2 and use FCP on it. In fact, FCP HD. If you know your way around the FCP's Media Manager, you can compress your DV footage down to something the iBook can handle. It won't look as good, but for straight editing with no effects and so forth, it works terrifically. Then you transfer your edit "file" back to a faster machine (in my case, a G4 dual 533) and do all your uncompressed DV renders in there.
So my answer is this, yes, the iBook can handle FCP if you:
1) Don't use exotic effects -- just straight edits
2) Use Media Manager to compress your DV footage to smaller, faster files
3) Use another, faster machine to handle the full-on rendering of the original, uncompressed footage
Now, having said that, I've used the same technique on an iBook G3 600 ("son of Pismo") with the same great results. On that machine, it TOTALLY maxes out the processor, but it still works.
Hope that helped...

Wow now I'm wondering if it's even worth showing up at 1 or if it'll be too packed

I don't think it is going to go up in value for a while yet. I personally love the systems, and agree with the idea that it should be worth more though :) .
I still find a use for my 840av, typing up blogs and actually listening to CDs. Gotta love the built in DSP for sound recoridng too ;) .
