This one is the top-rated silicone case for the iPhone 4. it's really thin, isnt too grippy but provides enough grip so it doesnt feel slippery without collecting lint, has good impact protection including the front due to a lip around the screen, and comes in multiple colors and designs.

Hey guys:
I've gone through two 13" mbas (1.86/4gb, ultimate) and both have had inversion or pixel walk screen issues. Any time i scroll through webpages pixels will shift very subtely - for instance in macrumors archive those fine lines that box in posts will blur when actively scrolling up/down.
I can't find any definitive posts on what causes this aside from voltage issues w/lcd. The folks at genius bar were not helpful.
This site: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/inversion.php has some examples. Another thread on the issue https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2675037?threadID=2675037&tstart=43
Does anyone know if this is an issue with all the 13'' mbas? It's a small issue but really bothers me, especially since I scroll and read through tons of text and the flickering becomes pretty apparent.
Any advice on solutions or general thoughts on what the issue is exactly would be appreciated.
At this point I'm going to try a third 13'' ultimate and see if I get the same problem.

I'm not. Have you used the Samsung Galaxy S?? It's an amazing phone. I haven't used an iPhone 4, but it's similar enough to the iPhone 3Gs (with the new iOS) that I doubt a "test drive" of an iPhone 4 would convince me otherwise.
I have not used the Galaxy S phone. It does look great though. From my perspective, my iPhone is so much beyond being just a phone. With all the applications I have installed on it, the device is simply a part of so many activities I do on a day-to-day basis. It really wouldn't be that easy to replace it with another device.

Hello everyone. I am at Panera right now. I can't seem to load macrumors.com, but the forums are fine. Anyone with the issue?

About the only place it says AT&T is with the signal strength for what network your receiving. If your not using cell data and turn it off, it says iPad. In other words, besides the Apple Logo, the iPad is unbranded (no cell phone provider markings on any of its shiny parts).

Hahaha That was a problem with my wording- I mean I have it fully installed on a separate partition on my Hard drive. I am hesitant to install it to my main partition which I use every day.
Now would be a good time for me to mention that I have a MacBook Pro 13' (2009) with 4GB of Ram and 750 GB HardDrive.

I just recently dove into all my design work from my classes and there is a pretty massive pile sitting on my floor right now.
I'm curious as to what things graphic designers hang onto and what they toss. Do you keep your thumbs and roughs? Or just finals? And for sorting them do you do it by project type?
Any tips on staying organized either with digital file or physical files are welcome.

I keep all my samples on my internal drive. I've also kept Superior Drum samples on my audio drive in the past. It doesn't matter as long as the libraries aren't the stream-from-disk type. If that's the case, they should have their own disk. If they are the type that load into RAM it really doesn't matter where you have them installed.
Not sure about the 3 FireWire port device as a hub thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it introduces errors, that is if it works at all. I wouldn't do it. Just daisy chain normally if you need more drives.

I'd like to get a mac mini server to use as a DVR etc. and then put regular mac mini's in each room in the house. I would also use my airport extreme which I already have.
The goal would be to have everything stored on either the server or the airport, and allow me to push any recorded program to any mac mini in the house for viewing. Is this possible with just the purchase of the mini server and a few minis (With my already purchased airport), or would I need other hardware to make it work too?

Does anyone know of a good web resource or book available to learn more Unix code?OS X Panther for UNIX Geeks (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0596006071/qid=1106898038/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-6834552-6960665?v=glance&s=books)

The O'Reilly Mac Dev Center (http://www.macdevcenter.com/mac/) web site has lots of good info and tutorials, as does the Apple Developer Connection (http://developer.apple.com/) site. There are a bunch of other decent resources as well, but those should get you started. For just basic UNIX stuff, you could probably use any standard book on BSD UNIX, though it's better to get a OS X-specific one if you can. When you get serious about it, you can install the developer tools from the Panther CDs (included).

Since the 2nd computer is the admin, that user will be able to look at the logs on the TC. Pretty much every router keeps a log of the URLs accessed by each computer.
So the admin will pretty much be able to see which websites you've visited. Plus the logs are timestamped.

Awesome. So she will be able to see my posts in this forum then? Haha. Dang, oh well. Thank you to everyone for the info and help! Great forum here.

Thanks for the answers, guys.
Believe me, Apple is not going to commit credit card fraud. Not really worried about fraud or anything; I just thought there might be a charge other than tax.

You can find the security slot on the back of the iMac.
Kensington (http://eu.kensington.com/kensington/en/gb/sel/334/laptop+locks.aspx) makes many of the locks, they can be found online for significantly cheaper than what the Apple Store or regular retail places will carry them for. Most are priced between 25-40.
This one (http://eu.kensington.com/kensington/en/gb/p/1174/K64615EU/desktop++peripherals+locking+kit.aspx) is intended for desktop use and can also lock peripherals.
